Please help save 30 Palestinian children who are in dire need of eye surgery and might become blind without this urgent intervention. We wouldn’t hesitate for our own children. We need to raise $65,000 for these children within 2 weeks. $2,200 for one child will include the operation as well as medical aftercare. Operations are going to be held in the next few weeks by doctors who are volunteering their time. A private hospital in Jordan has given us discounted operation fees to make this happen. 100% of the funds will go towards the operations and medical care of the children. We have raised the goal to 100,000 in order to support other Palestinian children in need of Eye Surgery. The 30 children will be covered with the $65,000, however the extra money raised will go towards additional children waiting in line.

I try to avoid everyone because they call me the  boy with cross eyes. This obstacle has stopped me from having friends , but now I have made it. I’ve done the first operation with your help! I can do the second one hoping I can accomplish my dream of becoming a doctor. My mission is to support all children that suffer from any vision problems.” 

“Hello, my name is Aws, I’m 6 years old…

…and as you all can see I have Down syndrome. I never realized it until now because my mom used to tell me how special, talented and smart I am. I was excited and happy to start kindergarten, but my life changed when I heard my mom arguing with someone to help her find someone to cover the cost of my surgery. She was told that I have down syndrome, which is pointless to do surgery, because I will be dying at a certain age anyways. My mom looked everywhere to find someone to cover the costs of my eye surgery. Just because I suffer from down syndrome that doesn't mean I don't have the right to live like other children. I did not decide to be born with this, we are all human. One day I will grow up and I will become a philanthropist to represent everyone that has down syndrome. Until that day, you are my hope. I am not alone, there are many children who need your help and support to be able to do our surgeries.”
