That’s why Charity Right provide school meals to help vulnerable children, including orphans, refugees and Hifz students, in seven countries strive for a brighter future: Palestine, Ethiopia, Malawi, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey.

These are the children Charity Right is helping – Uyghur refugees in Turkey, Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, children in Palestine, and many others.

Palestine

There is a food crisis in Palestine. More than half a million people in Gaza specifically – which is a quarter of the entire population – are now believed to be at the most severe Phase 5 'catastrophic' levels of hunger, meaning they are at high risk of starvation and death. In almost a year of working in Gaza, Charity Right has delivered meals to over 12,000 vulnerable members of the community, including nursing mothers, the elderly, and children.They're now in Palestine for the long-term through their launch of a new school meals programme. 

Afghanistan

In one of the world’s poorest nations, over a third of children are forced into child labour due to hunger. Some families face the unthinkable reality of selling their own children to remove their financial burdens. Your donations ensure no Afghan child goes to bed hungry again. Together, we can save lives and give these children a fighting chance.

Bangladesh

Millions of children in Bangladesh suffer from malnutrition, leaving them unable to reach their full physical and mental potential. Charity Right provides daily schools meals to children in the Dhaka slums, in Sylhet, and to Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, giving them the strength they need to break free from poverty. 

Uyghur refugees in Turkey

Thousands of Uyghurs have fled their homeland, and now live in Turkey. Many of the Uyghurs are women and children who have left their families behind to seek security. We provide school meals to children studying Hifz to free them from the worry of where their next meal is coming from, so they can focus on rebuilding their lives. 

Charity Right projects are all zakat eligible.
