Sudan: The forgotten Crisis

It’s been over 500 days since the war in Sudan began, a conflict disproportionately under-reported and largely ignored. Sudan is facing severe humanitarian crisis with over 25 million people in dire need of aid, 8 million people on the brink of starvation and over 20,000 people killed. As the war continues, many people are forced to uproot their lives, with an estimated 11 million people internally displaced leaving behind their homes and communities. Sudanese people continue to face unimaginable horror as they flee from place to place with many reports of sexual harassment and violence. Enough is enough, this is a crisis that can no longer be ignored. We must act and we must do it now.

We as Project Blackseed, have launched a collective call for a Global week of action aiming to raise 1 million dollars for Sudan.
