What's Going on in Pakistan?

Millions have been affected by monsoon flooding across Pakistan since June 2022. The country has faced extensive damages to homes, roads, bridges, and power stations with the Sindh and Punjab provinces being hit the hardest. As of August 25th, unprecedented rainfall and flash flooding has left over 215,997 in shelters, damaged 670,328 homes, and affected 116 out of 160 districts. The county has declared this a humanitarian disaster of epic proportions.

What is Helping Hand doing?

Immediate Emergency Relief

HHRD Pakistan teams are on location in the provinces of Baluchistan, Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide food, non-perishable items, medical assistance, mobile water filtration services, and dry rations. Over 45,000 residents, across 16 districts have received assistance as of August 24. Your continued support is imperative to their survival.
